There are two types of recycled plastic hangers: Previously Used Plastic Hangers and Recycled Plastic Hangers made of Recycled Content. Ditto's Recycled Plastic Hangers are made from post-industrial waste from around the PET production facility. This material comes from the sprues and gates of the injection modling process and since there are so many colors blended together to make these new hangers, these recycled plastic hangers are black.
Even though these are "recycled", they are new. Recycled not from post-consumer content but from around the manufacturing facility. Another way Ditto Hangers is attempting to reduce it's global footprint!
